M-Sport has posted a rare return to differing designs for its twin Ford Fiesta attack on the World Rally Championship for 2017.

The Fiestas for new team signing Sebastien Ogier and Ott Tanak will feature split designs which is the first time in 11 years the M-Sport squad has not run identical liveries.

Released following confirmation that Volkswagen’s four-times World Rally Champion Ogier linked with the Cockermouth squad, the look although incomplete, is a key reveal ahead of the final designs which will be unveiled at the Autosport Show in January.

Ogier and co-driver Julien Ingrassia will campaign a Fiesta flush with Red Bull signage while Tanak and co-driver Marti Jarveoja will run the ‘disguise’ livery that was used during the 2017-spec machines testing program..

The debut of the Fiesta machines at the season-opening Monte Carlo Rally next month coincides with the release of the latest road car version.

Both liveries carry the new-for-2017 MS-RT emblem which promotes an exciting collaboration with Van-Sport, the producers of bespoke road-going vehicles with a stylish, sporting edge.

New partners also include online betting company OneBet – prominent logos appearing on both cars as the company takes a first venture into the high-octane sport of world rallying ahead of this exciting new era.

“We are immensely proud of the Ford Fiesta WRC and these eye-catching new liveries will add the finishing touch,” M-Sport boss Malcolm Wilson said.

“The test livery captured everyone’s imagination so we were keen to incorporate this alongside our valued partners both old and new.

“We can’t wait to see both cars attack the stages of Rally Monte Carlo in their finalised designs.”
